"This review is for Rod Bolten photography - Terrible elementary school photos. Horrible. Extremely harsh, uneven lighting, harsh reflections, looks very unprofessional, terrible background, terrible crop/center. I could literally take better pictures with my phone. A 5 year old could literally take better pictures with my phone. Lifetouch is so much better, and less expensive. PLEASE learn what you are doing, DO BETTER! Or get out of this business! There are our kids' elementary school photos, they are important, they go in yearbooks, and the kids will look back at these photos years from now. You should be ashamed of yourself for the poor quality of your photos. I wonder who you must know to get the job, because it certainly cant be based on the quality of your work. Sorry for the harsh truth, maybe you need to hear it."

"If I could give no stars I would. Unbelievably bad service. Hockey photos taken in January. No communication from the company at all until I called in March to find out the status of the pictures. After 2 or 3 calls to the Sports Shots Unlimited they finally sent out the proofs. I ordered the pictures on March 10 (and they have since cashed my check) but I still don't have the pictures (it is now May 8). Messages have been left by myself and others and no one has returned our calls. I have notified the coaches who will notify the athletic department head about this amazingly poor service. Hopefully the school will pick another company next time."

"My daughter took cheer photos on August 16. We have yet to receive them. Nobody answers emails, or the phone. It’s a miracle how the school photos that were taken in mid-September were produced but not these photos? I don’t know why our schools still use them? We had the same issue last year. Don’t think I’m going to patronize this shoddy business again. They have one more day before I call my bank and say this is a fraudulent charge. Because it is. They’re a bunch of thieves.."

"No customer service what-so-ever. My two boys got their pictures taken for their bowling season with the rest of their team. Didn't receive the pictures until 2 months later (my son's senior pictures only took 2 weeks!). They didn't take the "buddy" photo I paid for and when I emailed (about 2 days after the photos were taken) them about it, I got no response until about a month or so later and they only asked what school and date. They did not respond to my questions and didn't tell me if they had in fact taken the buddy photo. When my boys handed me the pictures, guess what? No "buddy" photo, just a pre-printed note saying I'd get a refund in FOUR WEEKS!!!! WHAT?!?! But they cashed my check for the FULL AMOUNT with no problem!! I was upset about the photo not being taken because #1 I paid for it and #2 my oldest is a senior so this is the last time he'll be doing this and I wanted the photo taken with his brother so I had a picture of them together. These people need to learn what customer service is. I'd much rather hire my own photographer!!"

"11/06/2018 HAPPENED AGAIN!!!!!!!! NO PICTURES, NO CALLS, NO LETTERS!!! I WILL ABSOLUTELY REFUSE TO GIVE THEM ANY MORE OF MY MONEY. THE SCHOOL IS WELL AWARE OF THIS SITUATION AND NOW I AM HEARING ITS HAPPENING TO OTHER PARENTS AS WELL......We have not received our photos. It’s been over a Month since all the other kids received their photos, but ours were supposedly mailed out. They entered our CC info wrong so naturally the card was declined. No call was placed to us to inform us of this, instead they sent a letter to the school and when we called to make the payment the women told us we were all set and that we will receive them with the other photos. When we didn’t get the photos, we called and emailed with NO response! It had to be a call from our daughters school that we got answered. They never took the expiration date the second time. Once again, no call, no email, no letter, no pictures! We paid for the bigger package and we haven’t received ANY photos!!! I want my pictures!"
